Choosing Shutter Colors and Frames for a Finished Look
Shutter color and frame style can change the entire feeling of an installation, from subtle and modern to more traditional.

White shutters are popular because they feel bright, clean, and easy to coordinate. But not every white is the same. Warm whites, cool whites, and trim-matched finishes can look very different in the room.
Frame style also matters. Some frames feel minimal and modern, while others create a more built-in architectural border around the window.
Louver size changes both appearance and view-through. Larger louvers often feel cleaner and more contemporary, while smaller louvers can suit traditional windows or smaller openings.
The right shutter specification should consider wall color, trim color, window depth, room style, and how much of the outside view you want to preserve.
